Getting Started
Do I need prior experience?

Not at all — and that's genuinely true for every skill level we teach. Whether you've never touched a guitar or you've been playing for years, every lesson is shaped around where you're at and where you want to go.

I'm a complete beginner. Will I be able to keep up?

Yes, and we mean that sincerely. We start with the fundamentals at a pace that feels comfortable, not rushed, so you build real confidence as you go.

Can I switch instruments anytime?

Of course. Curious about bass after starting on acoustic? Want to try music production alongside electric guitar? You're free to explore acoustic, electric, bass, or music production at no extra cost.

How quickly will I be able to play a song?

Sooner than you might think. Most students are playing simple songs within the first few weeks, especially with a little regular practice in between lessons.

Lessons & Location
Where are lessons held?

At our studio in Tiong Bahru (126C Kim Tian Road) — centrally located and an easy 5–10 minute walk from public transport.

How long is each lesson?

Regular lessons are 45 minutes. Your first trial lesson is 30 minutes — enough time to get a genuine feel for our teaching style.

How often should I take lessons?

Weekly lessons — it's simply the best way to build real, lasting progress and keep momentum between sessions.

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes — we run high-quality lessons over Zoom for anyone who'd rather learn from the comfort of home.

Can I try a lesson before committing?

Absolutely, and it won't cost you a thing. Your first lesson is a free 30-minute trial, so you can get a genuine feel for our teaching style with zero pressure to continue.

Equipment
Do I need my own guitar or gear?

Not necessarily. If you already have an instrument, feel free to bring it along — and if you don't, we've got you covered with gear you can use right here during lessons.

What if I don't have a DAW for music production?

No problem at all. We teach using Ableton Live and Logic Pro, both set up and ready in our studio. If you'd like to practice at home too, we're happy to point you toward affordable options that suit your setup.

Pricing & Policies
How much do lessons cost?

Lessons are offered as a 4-lesson package for $280 ($70 per lesson), each session 45 minutes — the same rate whether you're learning acoustic, electric, bass, Rockschool, or music production. Your very first lesson is a free 30-minute trial, no strings attached.

How long is a package valid for?

Each package is designed to be completed within 4 lesson weeks, with a 2-week grace period afterward to wrap up anything unfinished. Unused lessons beyond the grace period are forfeited, with no refunds or extensions.

What's your cancellation policy?

We simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less notice, along with no-shows, are charged in full, and won't extend your package's validity.

What if I'm travelling?

If you're travelling, you can request a one-time suspension of up to 2 weeks per package, just let us know in advance. Longer suspensions are considered case by case.

What about emergencies?

Genuine emergencies are handled with care, on an individual basis — just get in touch, and we'll work through it together.

What if you need to cancel a lesson?

Then there's no cost or inconvenience to you. That lesson simply gets rescheduled or credited, and it won't count against your package's validity.

How do payments work?

Packages are paid upfront, and are non-refundable once forfeited or unused. Packages are also non-transferable unless we've agreed to it in advance.

Still have a question?

No pressure, no obligation — just a friendly first lesson to see if we're the right fit for you.
